Fabricated from woven-coated polyethylene, the high quality base material of the Econo FR tarp is a rip and tear-resistant 7×7 weave. This tarp consists of 6 mil thickness, double-stitched hems, rust proof grommets and plastic reinforced corner pieces for added strength. The addition of internal seams with grommets is also standard to be used as an additional tie-off point. Plus, like all Strong Man fire retardant products, the Econo FR Tarp is tested by a third party lab to ensure compliance with the stringent NFPA-701 Method II & BFD 1X-1 fire retardant standards.
